Sport Relief 2016

Ark Boulton Academy has proudly raised £1105.05 for Sport Relief. Students took part in a series of sporting events during lunchtime and afterschool; beat the teacher at table tennis, penalty shoot out, football tournaments and cake sales.

A particular mention to the Year 10 girls who raised over £400 through their PE lessons and gave up their time to organise a raffle and cake sale. One student, Amiral Islam in year 10 has been unbelievably committed to ensuring the success of this event. He has liaised with staff and students and supported with timetabling the activities.

We are overwhelmed by the amount of support and resilience from our students and staff, particularly the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing and Sports Leaders who gave up their time to organise the events. This year has been a record breaking year and we look forward to smashing this total in the next charity event.
