Gratitude is 'a feeling of appreciation or thanks'.

Gratitude helps to:

  • improve physical and psychological health
  • enhance empathy and reduce aggression
  • improve self-esteem and increase mental health

How do we demonstrate gratitude?

In school:

  • By filling in my journal to document the things I am grateful for.
  • By appreciating the things that my parents, teachers and community do for me.
  • I appreciate my own abilities and those of others.

During home learning:

  • By filling in my Journal to document the things I am grateful for.
  • By appreciating the things that my parents, teachers and community do so that I can continue my education online.
