A new partnership between The Sweaty Betty Foundation and Ark Boulton will promote physical activity for girls.
Girls at Ark’s four secondary schools in Birmingham have received 150 sport hijabs from The Sweaty Betty Foundation. The donation was made to students at Ark Boulton, Ark Kings, Ark St Alban’s and Ark Victoria.

Ms Crutchley, Assistant Principal said, “we are excited about our partnership with the Sweaty Betty Foundation and really value the sports Hijabs that we received which pupils will use when competing in sporting activities. Pupils have already commented on how confident they feel when wearing them. We look forward to sharing more about how this partnership has raised the confidence of our female pupils in the future".

This exciting partnership will see Ark developing sustained and progressive girls-only provision across its four schools in Birmingham. The programme, which is being funded by The Sweaty Betty Foundation, is expected to benefit 400 girls within a year.
