Her Majesty The Queen
We join the world in mourning following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. As a school community, we reflect on the Queen's compassion, service and humility throughout her reign.
Her dedication to our country, her other realms and territories, and the Commonwealth will continue to inspire and guide our students in years to come.
Our Ark Boulton family will be remembering Her Majesty's service and what we can learn from her, through our personal development programme and acts of collective remembrance throughout the week of Monday 12th September.
Friday 23rd September we are holding year 11 parent meetings regarding upcoming mock exams. This is a 30-minute session you NEED to attend either at 9.00 - 9.30 AM or 4.00 - 4.30 PM.
A Welcome From The Principal
Welcome to Ark Boulton Academy; a community school in the heart of Sparkhill.
Having grown up in the community we serve, I feel very privileged to be leading the academy on such a power mission: to ensure that all pupils go on to university, a high-level apprenticeship, or a career of their choice. But most importantly, that all of this is in service to pupils:
· Becoming role models to their siblings
· Taking care of their parents and families
· Upskilling the wider community
Ark Boulton is dedicated to developing all aspects of our pupils. This means that we prioritise our Character curriculum alongside our Academic curriculum. Our ten moral virtues are part of the DNA of the academy, and these are built upon as students transition from Lower School to Upper School, so that they are ready for life beyond our gates.
We love our pupils like they are our own and believe that they can all succeed, regardless of any barriers that may come their way. We work hard to support our pupils to be the best versions of themselves by working hard, behaving well, and making excellent progress.
